UDPL Medical Officers Assembling a Personal Range Medical Kit

David H. Cark

Cameo Aluminum and Stainless Steel Cleaner is the best stuff I have ever used. It has saved me many hours of cleaning stainless revolvers.

  1. Mix it with water in a small container. When you think it's runny, it will thicken quickly.

  2. Rub it on with material like old T-shirt patches. If it isn't wet enough, it will kind of powder off.

I use it on patches in the barrel and cylinder holes. It really gets ALL the black off easily. It dries quickly, comes off easy and you can just blow the rest off with air out of the little places it gets in. It does not remove metal or scratch.

I found it at A-Fresh market (The old Albertsons) - only place I've really looked for it. Make sure it is the blue label for Aluminum and Stainless Steel Cleaner. Cost $1.49 a bottle.
