3-Gun Match Information

UDPL 3-Gun matches usually consist of from 8 to 10 Courses Of Fire (COF) and offer the shooter the experience of using all of the defensive weapon types (rifle, pistol, shotgun) either separately, or in conjunction with each other (pistol/shotgun, pistol/rifle, etc.).  COFs may include IDPA-style targets as well as steel plate targets. One of the rifle COFs usually includes steel silhouette targets out to 180 yards. An example round count from a recent shoot included: 150 Rifle (steel core or armor piercing ammo IS NOT ALLOWED), 40 birdshot, 2 slugs and 120 pistol.

Be aware that shooters who have not yet participated in a UDPL 3-Gun event must have participated
in
at least one UDPL event prior to the 3-Gun match they wish to shoot in.

Shooters interested in the 3-Gun matches should acquaint themselves with the
3-Gun Divisions and the 3-Gun Rules.
Any questions or comments on the rules should be directed to Pat Zaccardi.

Currently (2011 year), Landon Olson is acting as our 3-Gun Match Director, with Brandon Limb, Glade Wood, Carey Palmer and R Dan Phillips acting as the 3-Gun Match Assistants. If you have any questions or are interested in helping them with any of the matches, please contact them.
